Out of town!

Mike and I have decided to do a spur of the moment trip, and head to San Diego for some fun! We have had a pretty rough time the last year and a half, and are due for some much needed vacation time! I had planned to surprise him, get him off work w/out him knowing, and go to Hawaii, but that did not work with our schedules. So now, we are going to go relax and get away from it all! We can not wait!

Life sucks sometimes.

When a friend's little boy passed away last month, I was talking to her, trying to bring her peace. This process in turn, helps bring me peace, because I feel like I have helped someone, which is all part of the healing process. I told her that losing a child sucks. It just does. There is no fairness in it, no true understanding, it just really sucks. Suck, sucks, sucketh. Well today is one of those days that just plain ol' sucks. I most likely will not get out of bed,(unless to use facilities and such) will dine on bread (I am convinced carbs are also part of the healing process), will let the tears freely flow, and will spend the day for myself and my angel babies that I miss so much, that it physically is hurting my heart right now. I wish sometimes it didn't hurt so much. Also, I am convinced that I have a celestial dog. Whenever I start to cry or sob again, he come running in, wanting to lay as close as possible,(without going down my throat that is. After he is assured I have stopped for a moment again, he cuddles as close to me on the bed and just sighs a couple of times,(who said anything about dogs not being smart and perceptive.) Then, when I start crying again, he comes and lays beside me again and the whole process starts over again, with him licking up my tears and such. I know it will get easier tomorrow, but today just sucks!

Nieces and Nephews

Mike's little sister Michelle and then his twin's wife, Deanna, are having babies this summer! Michelle is due the second week of June with their first, and Deanna is due towards the end of July with their second baby! Here are pictures of the parents-to-be and the second time parents! We are so excited for them and pray Moms and babies are healthy!

Morgan & Lilly

Well, I finally got some pictures of Lilly up. She was truly a miracle. Mike has an identical and his wife and I had our daughters just a few hours apart from each others. They also both share the middle name of Elizabeth, ( which is also my middle name).When they delivered Lilly, they had Mike take her over to me, because they really thought she had moments to live. So it was truly a miracle when she lasted 5 1/2 weeks!

Our first blog!

Well here it is, our first blog! I do not have any pictures of our daughter Lilly on here, because I do not have any pictures on my computer of her. I will work on that and get some up! I am also adding more and more pictures of my family each week!
